Meet the person behind DW Nutrition.
For Dennis Wade, MS, RD, LDN, nutrition has always been about more than food. It is about people, their experiences, the challenges they face, and the opportunities they have to improve their health and well-being.
Dennis is a registered dietitian with a master's degree in Food and Nutrition from Framingham State University. His background includes personal training, foodservice operations, clinical and community nutrition, and his current work in Kâ12 school nutrition. Shaped by both his own personal health journey and his professional experiences, Dennis understands that improving health requires more than providing information. It requires listening, collaboration, and practical solutions that fit people's lives and communities.
DW Nutrition was founded to bring that philosophy to both individuals and organizations. Through personalized nutrition counseling, consulting, grant development, and program planning, Dennis aims to help people achieve meaningful health goals while helping community organizations develop programs that make a difference.
At the heart of his work is a simple belief: everyone deserves the opportunity to build a healthier future, and strong communities are an important part of making that possible.
Helping organizations turn ideas into impact.
DW Nutrition works with schools, nonprofits, community organizations, and foodservice programs to develop practical solutions that support the people they serve. Whether an organization is exploring a new initiative, pursuing funding, or improving an existing program, the goal is to turn meaningful ideas into achievable plans.
Grant Development
Helping organizations identify funding opportunities, develop project concepts, prepare budgets, and create compelling grant proposals.
Program Planning
Supporting organizations with program design, goal setting, implementation strategies, evaluation planning, and operational improvements.
Nutrition & Foodservice Consulting
Providing practical support with nutrition education, menu development, foodservice operations, and dietary accommodation processes.
Every project begins with understanding an organization's goals, available resources, and the communities it serves. DW Nutrition emphasizes collaboration and realistic solutions designed for meaningful, lasting results.

Nutrition is personal, and no two people have the same experiences, needs, or goals. Dennis works with individuals and families to understand their circumstances and develop realistic strategies that fit their everyday lives.
Through Nourish, Dennis offers virtual nutrition counseling focused on sustainable habits, building a positive relationship with food, and supporting long-term health. His approach emphasizes listening, collaboration, and meeting people where they are.
